Drawing

Drawing is my favourite hobby. And it has been since I can remember. From my 16^th until my 19^th I did a graphic design education. I didn't finish this education because it was too commercially focussed. I was more interested in the artistic side. I also hated making the world more beautiful in my drawings than it really is. So I went back to high school and started to study astrophysics. But that is a different story.

Gastrula: A pencil sketch I made for a friend in 2007.

Placenta Art: When the kids where born I made these prints with the placenta's. As a tribute to this wonderfull organ. Included is an instruction manual to make your own placenta prints.

Zyal's birthday card: This is the card I made for Zyal's birthday in 2004. It is a sequel of Fyor's birthday card. And also inspired on her middle name: Terra.

Fyor's birthday card: This is the card I made for Fyor's birthday in 2002. It was inspired by Fyor's middle name: Terra.

Lemniscaat: This is a color pencil drawing I made in 2001. Lemniscaat is the name for the symbol of infinity.

Me: A selfportrait I made in 2001 with black water paint on white paper. I made it with the help of a picture I took from myself.

Wedding card: In September 2000 Hans and I got married and of course I designed the wedding cards myself. On this Dutch webpage I made a visual presentation of it's creation process.

X Nebula: This nebula is made in 1999 using pastel crayons and water paint.

Gedachten: This is a color pencil drawing I made in 1998 using the same technique described at jip's corner of creation.

Dyslexie: In 1998 I made this painting about dyslexia (in Dutch: dyslexie) for a school assignment.
